CAF CC: Al Masry Arrives Cameroon Prior To Cotonsport Showdown

Egyptian side Al Masry just arrived the Douala international airport and will continue their journey to Garoua hours from now, and lodge in hotel Ribadou in Garoua. The Egyptian side’s delegation composes of 40 members including 22 players.

Al Masry are lodged in group C of the Confederations Cup alongside; Cotonsport, AS Otoho and TP Mazembe, with the game already looking like some sort of a must win encounter. The game comes up On Sunday February 13th, at the Omnisports Roumde Adjia in Garoua.

The most successful club in Cameroon (Cotonsport) must start strong against their opponent of great quality, if they want to replicate last season’s explosiveness in the competition.

It will be the first time that these two teams are meeting in a game of any sort. Cotonsport has had a couple of friendlies prior to this. Inter-team friendlies amid players of the club in Bertoua, coupled with a high profile friendly against the Super Eagles of Nigeria in January.

Cotonsport eliminated Orapa United of Botswana and FC Nouadhibou on their way to the group stages, while Al Masry went past URA (Uganda) and Rivers United of Nigeria
