CAF CC: Al Masry Dumps Out Cotonsport

Playing at home, Al Masry’s 2-0 victory turned out to be an absolute perfect result, and couldn’t get any better.

The Egyptian club qualified for the quarter-finals of the CAF Confederations Cup, after her victory on Sunday, against Coton Sport de Garoua, on the occasion of match day 5 of the group stage.

A goal from Mohammed Abdel Latif at the 35th minute and another from Ahmed Alaa (53rd) allowed the Egyptians to win 2-0.

With the victory, Al Masry now has 10 points and gets her ticket to the quarters.

As for the Cotonsport, they have only 3 points, one day before the end of the group stage, and there’s no hope of qualification to the quarter-finals. A huge back pedal for a team that played the semi finals last year.
