CAF CC: Future FC Records First Win Against AS FAR

Egyptian Premier League black horse, Future FC bounced back into the TotalEnergies CAF Confederation Cup competition with a 2-0 victory over FAR Rabat at home.

FAR Rabat of Morocco, the 1985 African champions, surrendered a nine-match unbeaten record spanning qualifying and Group C matches when they fell 2-0 to Future of Egypt in Cairo.

Four minutes after the break Essaouabi failed to clear the ball, slotting in an own goal.

Despite AS FAR’s domination in terms of possession during the full 90 minutes of the game, the Moroccan side failed to pose a real threat on Future FC backline. Pyramids leads group C after their 4-1 spanking of Asko. Future meanwhile are 3rd, 2 points behind AS FAR.
