CAF CC: Paul Acquah Scores Thrice As Rivers Drown Motema Pembe

Paul Acquah scored a hat-trick as Rivers United won 3-1 against DC Motema Pembe in a delayed game day four encounter of the TotalEnergies CAF Confederation cup. The game was played on Thursday March 9, at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Nigeria.

Acquah was the author a hat-trick at the 45th, 56th and 90th minute, allowing his team to win the reversed fixture (3-1) against DC Motema Pembe.

The visitors’ scored a consolation at the 78th minute courtesy Mydo Kingou Yallet.

It is a third consecutive victory which allows Rivers United to consolidate their position as leaders of Group B with 9 points.
