CAF CC: Real Bamako Still Without Victory After Monastir Draw

Beaten by TP Mazembe a week ago, AS Real Bamako is still struggling to take off in the group stage of the TotalEnergies CAF Confederation cup.

The Malian club hosted Monastir on Sunday in Group D, but could not do better than a goalless draw (1-1).

Makan Samabaly opened the scoring for the Malians in the 48th minute. However, the latter did not manage to keep the lead, since they let in a goal at the 77th minute by Monastir thanks to Zied Aloui.

The card now reads a defeat and a draw therefore for AS Real Bamako who have a single point after two games, while Monastir has 4 after beating Young Africans a week ago.
