CAF CL: Belouizdad’s Win Over Jwaneng Leaves Group C In A Tripple Threat

CR Belouizdad, are now temporal leaders of group   C after match day 4  of the CAF  Champions League.

The A largely dominated and defeated their opponents Jwaneng Galaxy of Botswana 4-1, at the Stade du 5 Juillet 1962.

The Algerian side with her comfortable scoreline took control of the  classification of the group, while waiting for the battle between Etoile of Sahel and Espérance of Tunis.

Playing at home, the Algerians took the front via a goal from the spot by Mohamed Islam Bakir (25).

With four minutes left to the pose, Karim Aribi doubled the advantage for the home side. Jwaneng Galaxy thought they were back into it as Karim Aribi halved the deficit at the 49th minute, but it wasn’t meant to be.

Further goals from Housseyn Selmi (70) and Merzougi (90+1) put the game well above the reach of the visitors.

Jwaneng Galaxy are out of the race and the battle is now a tripple threat  between; Etoile (4), Esperance(6) and Belouizdad (8) in group C.
