CAF CL: Cotonsport’s Gabriel Haman Upbeat In ‘Group Of Death’

Cotonsport’s head coach – Gabriel Haman followed the CAF champions league draw on Monday and he reacted afterwards about his team’s chance of making it through to the next round.

“We fell into a very difficult group, with two teams (Al Ahly SC, Mamelodi Sundows, editor’s note) who have already won this competition. We are going to play. We are the least rated team in the group, but football is no longer what it used to be. I think we have to play hard and take it one game after the other,” the man who won the Elite One championship with Cotonsport last season stated.

Coton Sport of Garoua is housed in Group B. They will have to face-off against Al Ahli (Egypt), Mamelodi Sundowns (South Africa) and Al Hilal Omdurman of Sudan.

Cotonsport are the lone representatives of Cameroon in African competitions and they will have to be in their best form to try to grab one of the two qualifying places in the Group for the quarter-finals.
