CAF CL: Petro leapfrog Hilal at the 11 de Novembro stadium

Petro de Luanda started their champions league campaign on Saturday, Nov. 25, with a victory in the group stage of the CAF champions league.

The Angolan ambassadors played the game and won at the “11 de Novembro” National Stadium, through a 1/0 scoreline with a goal from Inácio Miguel, over Al Hilal Ondurman of Sudan.

It turned out to be an important triumph for the club, in a game in which, Petro, deserved more – according to coach Alexandre Santos. 

Floren Ibengê, coach of Al Hilal Ondurman of Sudan,  lamented on the lack of effectiveness of his players, who were better in the second half.

In the other game in the group, Esperance de Tunis beat fellow Tunisian Etoile Du Sahel, 2/0.
