CAF CL Prelims: Kabylie Takes A 2-1 Advantage Over ASKO To Algeria

Togolese club Kara ASKO played against JS Kabylie on Saturday, in the second round of the CAF Champions League preliminaries, and lost at home (2-1) in the first league.

A slight loss of concentration from the start of the game by ASKO, meant two goals in quick succession, first by Alili at the 15th minute, then Lamine Ouattara two minutes later. 2-0 it was at the break. Returning from half-time, ASKO put their foot on the accelerator and ended up reducing the score in the 72nd minute through Ouattara Moutalabou.

Unfortunately, the home side did not manage to snatch the equalizer. They will therefore start the reversed fixture in Kabylie next weekend with a disadvantaged 2-1 scoreline.
