CAF Confed Cup: Al Ittihad Share Spoils With Saoura

There was no winner or loser between Al Ittihad Tripoli and JS Saoura on match day 3!

The 100 percent North African duel that took place on Sunday, February 27 in Benghazi as part of the 3rd day of the CAF Confederation Cup, was played at the Bnina Martyrs stadium in Benghazi, and ended one-all.

Both goals of the game were scored in the first half. Mohamed Zubya opened the scoring for the Libyan club in the 22nd minute while Mohamed Amine Ouis drew the Algerians back to Contention at the 30th minute.

Following this result, the Al Ittihad and JS Saoura are second and third 4 points each, while Pirates lead with 6 points after the mauling of Royal Leopards (6-2) at the Mbombela stadium.
