CAF Confed. Cup: Issoufou Dayo’s brace sets tone for last season’s finalists Berkane, against CD Lunda

Renaissance Berkane won against CD Lunda Sul of Angola by a score of 2 goals to 0, on Wednesday at the Berkane municipal stadium, in a match of the first day of group B of the CAF Confederations Cup.

The Orange team took the lead thanks to a double by Issoufou Dayo (21st, 79th).

In the same group, won against Stellenbosch of South Africa by 2 goals to 0.

At the end of the matches of game day 1 in group B, Renaissance Berkane occupies the first place with 3 points, tied with Stade Malien (3 pts), while CD Lunda Sul and Stellenbosch share bottom spot with 0 point.

Renaissance Berkane ended as finalists in the last edition of this competition against Zamalek of Egypt.
