CAF Confed Cup Q Draw: Simba Paired Against Pirates

After reaching the quarter-finals of the CAF Confederations Cup, Simba are set to pit Orlando Pirates of South Africa.

Simba, coached by Pablo Franco, are set to begin their quest at the Benjamin Mkapa Stadium on April 17, in a game that will be enthralling for neutrals.

The reversed fixture is scheduled for April 24, at Orlando Stadium in South Africa. The draw was made on Tuesday, and saw Simba hung up against the group C champions (Pirates) who finished with 13 points after 6 matches.

Simba finished second in Group D with 10 points, with the last group game at the Mkapa Stadium deciding their fate.

The Tanzania representatives made it through within 45 minutes after scoring 4 goals against USGN via goals from Sadio Kanoute, Cris Mugalu’s brace and an own goal.
