CAF Confed Cup: Saoura Miss-Out On Quarter Finals With 10 Points

JS Saoura should have regrets after missing out of the CAF Confederations Cup quarter finals in such a cruel manner!

Saoura will not play the quarter-finals of the CAF Confederations Cup despite her victory on Sunday in the occasion of the 6th and final day of group B matches.

The Algerian representatives managed to beat Royal Leopards on Sunday afternoon, away from home.

A 2-0 victory thanks to goals from Ismaïl Saïdi at the 51st and Oussama Bellatreche at the 54th minute put the team on a total of 10 points.

However, the draw (0-0) between Al Ittihad and Orlando Pirates did not help Saoura’s, course, since the Libyan representatives now have 11 points, one point more than Saoura.

JS Saoura and Royal Leopards are therefore eliminated and will not ply in the quarters, unlike Orlando Pirates and Al Ittihad who will continue the adventure.
