CAF Confed. Cup: Valere Bassene, Abdelkrim Baadi headline Berkane’s win over Stade Malien

Renaissance Berkane, Morocco’s sole representative in the CAF Cup, snatched a precious victory in Bamako against Stade Malien, on Sunday, December 3.

Berkane returned from its difficult trip to Bamako with a valuable victory against Stade Malien, on game day 2 of the CAF Confederations Cup.

The goals for RS Berkane were scored by Senegalese striker Paul Valere Bassene (30th) and left back Abdelkrim Baadi (37th).

Stade Malien reduced the score through Mamadou Traore in the 71st minute.

At the end of this day, Amine Karma’s men took first place in group D with 6 points, followed by Stade Malien (3 points).

Berkane will host the Diable Noir of Brazzaville next Sunday for game day 3  the group stage.
