CAF Confederations cup: Berkane through to last 8 with deadrubber draw against Desportivo Luanda

RS Berkane drew with Desportivo Lunda-Sul of Angola (0-0), on Sunday at the November 11 stadium in Luanda, in match day 5 of group B of the TotalEnergies CAF Confederations cup.

RS Berkane, finalist of the last edition of the competition, secured qualification for the quarter-finals at the end of game day 4 after its victory against Stade Malien (1-0).

In the same group, the South African club Stellenbosch qualified for the quarter-finals by winning against Stade Malien via a score of 2 goals to 0, at the Loftus Versfeld stadium in Pretoria.

During the 6th and last day of the group stage, Renaissance Berkane will host the Stellenbosch club on Sunday, January 19.
