CAF Women’s CL: Simba Queens Crowned Semifinalists On First Attempt

Simba Queens (Tanzania) defeated the Green Buffaloes of Zambia by a 2-0 margin to reach the final four of the CAF women’s champions league.

The game’s complexion changed only after a tie-breaer thanks to two goals from the Simba Queens scored at the 64th and 79th minutes by Asha Djafari and Opah Clement

Simba Queens then propelled themselves second in their group, as they reached the semi-finals with 6 points, 3 behind FAR with 9 points. They will face Mamelodi Sundowns, winners of group B.
