CAF Women’s CL UNIFFAC Zone Qualifiers: Can Amani Turn Tides Against Resilient Kings?

CAF Women’s CL UNIFFAC Zone Qualifiers: Can Amani Turn Tides Against Resilient Kings?

DR Congo’s Amani will on Sunday September 12 try to turn the tables when they receive Malabo Kings in the reversed fixture of the TotalEnergies CAF Women’s CL UNIFFAC playoffs.

Amani just like in their previous game against Gabonese flag wavers Missile FC, will need to overturn a first leg score, just that – this time, it is a resounding 4-1 victory.

A fortnight ago and more, DR Congo’s FCF Amani beat Gabon’s Missile FC 3-1 in Kindu, to recover from a deficit of a goal in the first leg to qualify for the UNIFFAC Qualifiers final of the CAF TotalEnergies Women’s Champions League planned in Egypt at the end of the year.

Malabo Kings have been by far far the best team in the round – robin, four team tourney. They trumped Louves Minproff from Cameroon via a four – nil margin.

The winner will advance to the final tournament that will be played in Egypt. The eight winners from African zones will be divided into two groups of four. The first two in each group advance to the semi-finals.
