CAFWCL Qualifiers: Huracanes FC Dethrones TP Mazembe, Clinch UNIFFAC Title

Huracanes FC has claimed the last CAF Women’s Champions League ticket after descending powerfully on Epah Ngamba in their second UNIFFAC zonal qualifier game, keeping a 100 percent record.
The Equato-Guinean Champions tops the group with 6points followed by former Champions TP Mazembe women.
Huracane made their statement clear in the opening game, a rollercoaster 3-2 win over the DRC counterparts. Elena Obono and mates knew what they came for against Epah that had lost 2-0 to Mazembe.
Obono who got a brace on Day-1 wasted no time to double her tally in the 17th 28th minutes before completing a hattrick on the hour mark. She claims the top scorer crown.

The zonal qualifiers reshaped from its round-robbing nature after Cameron’s AS Awa FC backed out due to financial constraints.
Huracanes becomes the 5th debutant to be at the upcoming finals slated for late this year in Ivory.
