Cameroon charges Chad 26 millions FCFA for use of Amadou Ahidjo stadium

Cameroon has reported charged neighboring Chad fcfa 26 millions, to receive Mauritius in their home game of the 2025 AFCON qualifiers.

On March 22, 2024, Chad will play the first leg against Mauritius, counting for the qualifiers for the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) billed for Morocco in 2025.

Having arrived in N’Djamena, coach Kevin Nicaise Tatila, and his staff, conducted their first preparation session to prepare for the double confrontations earlier last week.

In fact, coach Nicaise has pre-selected 26 local players to work with before the game eventually comes.

Despite complaints of the high rates for the mythical Omnisport Amadou Ahidjo stadium, the two games against Mauritius are confirmed for the venue, in yaounde.

Chad has made Cameroon its home, with local clubs playing CAF inter-club competitions, as well as the national team, playing CAF competitions, since they’re no homologated stadiums in Chad, as at yet.
