Cameroon Cup Final Gets An Ultimate Date

The Cameroon Cup final is finally confirmed for Sunday March 13, after a couple of false starts, as confirmed by the Minister of State, and SG at the Presidency, Ferdinand Ngo Ngo.

The game that will see 2020 Elite One Champions PWD of Bamenda take on Astres FC will reportedly be chaired by the country’s PM Joseph Dion Ngute, at the Amadou Ahidjio stadium.

Astres FC, three-time runners-up in the Cameroon Cup will looking to grab the prestigious trophy after ending second best in; 2007, 2009 and 2010.

PWD of Bamenda has equally never won the Cup of Cameroon but came off as beaten finalists in 1979, and so, after the premier division in 2020, P ton ton relishes a piece of Cameroon Cup glory.

Coach Anicet Mbarga Foe of Astres is used to the big time, same is David Pagou of PWD. These two have however lost some key components, for instance the case of PWD who will do without Mael Dinjeke, Haschou Kerrido and Nchindo John Bosco. Astres is the stabler of both sides, but one cannot underestimate the business done by PWD in the transfer window.
