Cameroon – Malawi – Cote D’Ivoire: ‘We Have What It Takes To Win,’ Vincent Aboubakar

Al Nassr marksman and Indomitable Lions captain, Vincent Aboubakar has admitted that team Cameroon has what it takes to get results in the games against Malawi and Cote D’Ivoire, that will eventually see them through to the knockout phase of the Qatar 2022 World Cup qualifiers.

The latter was speaking at a presser in the 3 – day ongoing camp, in Yaounde, Cameroon.

‘All the games are very important as you can all imagine’. Aboubakar started.

‘Today we find ourselves in a situation where we must win,’ opined Aboubakar.

The 29 year old then added: ‘We need to realize our dream of qualifying for the World Cup. The match against Malawi as well as the game against Cote D’Ivoire are all of great importance.

‘We have very talented youngsters. We are going to need creativity to win these games’. said the erstwhile Porto forward.

Cameroon prior to these two games have lost some key players like: Neyou, Moukoudi, Kunde, and most recently, Choupo Moting (to Covid) and Jean Charles Castelleto whose Dad is deceased.

‘It’s not a one-player affair,’ Aboubakar continued. ‘But if we are united and really supportive, I think we will be rewarded,’ the man who was present in the 2010 and 2014 World Cup tournaments ended.

Cameroon are set to hit the road for Johannesburg today November 8. Awaiting the Lions is Malawi. The first of two games will be played on Saturday Nov. 13, before Cameroon will return home to face Cote D’Ivoire on the 16th of November.
