Cameroon National Olympic Committee Evaluates Sporting Venues Ahead of Dixiades

On Tuesday, November 12, a delegation from the Cameroon National Olympic and Sports Committee (CNOSC) conducted thorough inspections of key sporting infrastructures in preparation for the upcoming Dixiades, a highly anticipated national event.
The delegation’s itinerary included visits to various venues, starting with the renowned Stade d’Olembe, followed by:
- The Athletics track at Annexe Stadium N°2 in Olembe
- Mfandena Gymnasium
- Multipurpose Sports Palace
- Military Stadium grounds
- Party hall and football field of the prestigious General Lycée Leclerc
- Crossroads of Ngoa Ekelle High School
- Doume Aboubakar Gymnasium of the National Institute of Youth and Sports
- Mateco Complex of the University of Yaoundé I
- Obili Presidential Guard soccer fields
- SED Volleyball Courts
In addition to evaluating the sporting venues, accommodation and catering facilities were meticulously inspected to ensure that athletes and participants receive top-notch hospitality during the event.
A reminder to all sports enthusiasts: The Dixiades are scheduled to take place in Yaoundé from December 11 to 21, 2024.
Anticipation is building as preparations are underway to make this national sporting event a resounding success.
