Cameroon U23: Yves Brandon Eno Joins In, Ahead Of Angola Clash

Gearing up for the reversed fixture of the AFCON U23 qualifiers, coach Guy Fetchine has turned to Cotonsport’s creative midfeilder, Yves Brandon Eno – after 5 players were rusticated from camp.

The 20-year-old who has been in the thick of things since the start of the campaign in all competitions, Eno has pulled up unerring performances, graced with 2 goals, and same number of assists to his name.

The latter entered camp right after the stalemate his parent club – Cotonsport registered against Colombe FC on match day two of the Elite One Championship.

Eno becomes the fourth Cotonsport player to join camp after; Ngoni Ali, Wassou and Djawal Kaiba. In fact, he is the second player to enter the U23 Lions camp within 24 hours, as YOSA sweeper, Ekoi Manfred joined in earlier on.

The newcomers are coming in as replacements for players who were suspended, due to issues regarding a toy gun that was joked around with, while in camp.

Cameroon will take on Angola on October 30 and all what is needed for the U23 Lions is for them to avoid defeat, so as to make the tourney finals in Morocco, next year.
