Cameroon Vs. Nigeria: Moumbagna ready to follow in footsteps of cult heroes

Faris Moumbagna is ready to blend in and add to the top strikers the Cameroon against Nigeria fixture has produced.

Moumbagna is ready to take whatever game time he is given seriously, and possibly win the game for the 5-time AFCON champions.

“I am ready to come in and give my best,” Moumbagna said pre match.

The Olympique Marseille new-boy added that the atmosphere is calm ahead of their game against Nigeria.

“We are going to approach this match with ‘Hemlé’. We will give everything on the pitch.

“When we give all, the result comes as we saw against Gambia. We gave everything and tomorrow we will also do same,” he declared.

Moumbagna equally affirmed that the indomitable Lions team will approach the game with calmness: “We are well prepared, there is a calm atmosphere within the group.

“We have to stay that way. We’ve told ourselves it’s a knockout match so we’re going to stay in the same state of mind, and continue to give our best.”

Quizzed on the lack of game time, especially with the return of Aboubakar, Moumbagna replied;

” It’s left to the coach to decide. But we are a group. I take a lot of advise from Aboubakar. If the coach decides that I play, it depends on him. If he doesn’t, I’ll keep working.” Ended Moumbagna.
