Cameroon vs. Switzerland: Murat Yakin Weary Of Cameroon’s Attacking Threat

Swiss coach Murat Yakin has admitted that Switzerland will be weary of Cameroon’s attacking threat when both sides meet at 11 am local time tomorrow at Al Janoub Stadium for the World Cup opener in group G.

Cameroon has a good balance in its team from the goalkeeping to the attacking compartment, but the star dusts lies in the attacking half.

“Cameroon has high-quality attackers. We must not leave them space. We have a good defense. We will be vigilant and focused, but not just defensive. We have to be aggressive.” The 48-year-old stated at the pre match presser.

Rigobert Song is spoiled for choices up top with Vincent Aboubakar, Choupo Moting and Toko Ekambi, who have scored 64 goals between them with the national team.

Rigobert Song equally has the likes of Christian Bassogog, Moumi Ngamaleu, newboys; Nkoudou Kevin, Mbuemo, Souaibou and Ngom to rely on.

Cameroon will play the first game tomorrow Thursday Nov. 24 – and the Indomitable Lions will hope to be the first African team to win in a game in the competition after; Senegal, Tunisia and Morocco did not manage victories in their respective games.
