Cameroon Women’s Cup: 5-Star Louves Emerge champions

Louves Minproff defeated Authentic 3-0 in the final of the Cameroon Women’s Cup on Tuesday, March 7 at the Ngoa Ekelle stadium.

Guinness Super League side Louves took the lead four minutes after the hour mark through Kamine Kaka, with a truely sumptuous finish.

One-nil it ended in the break, but Louves Minproff added tally in the second stanza. Ghislaine Larissa Nkou who scored in the semi, once more netted, this time, in the grande finale to make it 2-0 for her side in the 71st minute.

Pauline Priso made sure the cup had Louves’ name printed out on the with her 84th minute strike.

With this cup win, Louves Minproff becomes the most successful club in Cameroonian women’s football.

Louves take the baton of command from Cannon Filles of Yaoundé (15 titles) and and settles alone at the head of the ranking of the most successful women’s clubs in Cameroon with 16 titles; 6 Cameroon cups, 6 championships and 4 other Women’s tournament wins.
