Cameroon’s Fressange Giving Pochettino A Selection Headache

Alexandre Fressange was yet again thrown in at the 70th minute of play in Paris Saint Germaine’s two – all tie in a friendly against Euroupa league holders Seville, on Tuesday, July 27.

The lad has made massive progress since the start of the pre season, playing friendly encounters against; Chambly, Le Mans, FC Augsburg and yesterday, against Seville.

Astonishing, it was when the ball – playing center half made his way to the pitch, that the goals dried up for Seville.

Seville opened scores through midfeilder Ivan Rakitic and held on through the remainder of the first half. PSG managed to draw level with Mauro Icardi’s effort earlier on in the first half.

Seville once more found cracks in the PSG defense and scored to once more take the lead. It was at this point that Argentine gaffer Mauricio Pochettino opted for 20 – year – old Fressange, before the equaliser, came in late, courtesy Nagera – who leveled up matters with two minutes of regular, playing time to go.

Fressange’s performance once more caught the attention of some supporters of the club, despite the lad being on, just for 20 minutes.

Reminiscent of a star – studded squad with a recent inclusion of Sergio Ramos, Pochettino will have the difficulty of leaving the youngster out of the squad, with a sensational pre season he has had.

Fressange has accumulated 110 minutes so far.

The rearguard agreed a new two-year-deal with the French Juggernauts that will keep him at the club till next year.
