Cape Town City send Bertrand Mani packing

Bertrand Mani is no longer a Cape Town City FC player.

Cape Town City FC have parted ways with Cameroonian forward Bertrand Mani with immediate effect after just 8 months at the club.

The Cameroonian’s initial 3-year contract will not run through, sportglitz understands.

Disappointed by the season’s performance of the former Colombe striker, stakeholders of the South African club decided to terminate the contract of the player who managed only one goal in 16 appearances in the PSL.

As a reminder, the erstwhile intermediate Lion signed with Cape Town City in November 2022.

He had very attractive statistics; ended co-top scorer of the 2021-2022 Elite One season alongside Adolph Enow Nkembe. His fellow countryman – Fidel Ambina is still waxing strong, and will return to play his third term at the club when the league resumes.
