Cape Town City’s Mani Voted MOTM Against Chippa United

Bertrand Junior Mani was voted man of the match in Cape Town City’s one-all draw away to Chippa United on Saturday.

Difficult to see a striker scoop the personal accolade without a goal or assist, but it was the latter’s hard work that got him the price.

Mani, 25, was playing only his fourth league game in the DSTV premiership. He ran across his man before setting up countryman, Brice Ambina whose shot took a deflection off Igdorado and went in for an own goal.

The erstwhile Colombe man had some poster moments in both halves with his link up play and being the so called go-to-guy.

The draw against Chippa keeps Mani and co at ,8th position with 20 points after 16 matches.Up next for City is a game against Galaxy on Friday next week.
