Chaker Alhadhur & Famous AFCON Jersey Immortalized

The FIFA museum has for itself new inductees!

Chaker Alhadhur and his famous jersey have been immortalized. The Comorian defender had donned his jersey during the round of 16 of AFCON 2021 against Cameroon.

He replaced the first and second choice goalies due to the Covid that badly struck the group, with the third choice goalie out due to injury.

The Cœlacanthe initially put the jersey for auction to help people with disabilities. However, it has eventually ended up in the FIFA Museum.

The jersey had earned the Comorian Football Federation a fine of 5,000 dollars. It was nonchalantly covered with strips on the back, in order to hide the original number 16 with number 3.
