CHAN 2022: DR Congo Unveils List Of 25 With Three Reserves

The Democratic Republic of Congo has unveiled her list of list of players for CHAN 2022.

The list of 28 players are those convened after the Kinshasa camp in which 39 who were pre-selected participated. To add on the 28 players, there are 3 players acting as reserves.

DR Congo is housed in Group B alongside Uganda, Côte d’Ivoire and Senegal.

The list was announced by head coach Otis Ngoma, in a press conference at FECOFA headquarters on Monday.

Mr. Ngoma also specified that three reservists are maintained, in the event of injury or last-minute surprises.

Congo are 2-time champions of the competition that enters its 7th edition in Algeria. The only other nation that equals that feat is Morocco, two – time successive winners: 2018 – 2020.
