CHAN 2022: Hosts Algeria Unveil 28-Man Squad With 8 Senior Team Players

Less than 10 days before her opening match against Libya on January 13, Algeria, host country of CHAN 2022, unveiled its list of 28 players selected by coach Madjid Bougherra on Monday.

The list has no less than 8 internationals who have already been in the ranks of the first team.

The likes of goalkeeper Farid Chaâl, defenders; Mokhtar Belkhiter, Ayoub Abdellaoui, Youcef Laouafi, Haïthem Loucif, midfielders; Oussama Chita and Houssem Mrezigue and striker Karim Aribi, have all had stints with the Desert Foxes.
