Chan 2022: Kaiba And Intermediate Lions Plan To ATTACK Niger
Midfielder Djawal Kaiba has insisted on the intermediate Lions’ determination to go all out against Niger on Tuesday, as team Cameroon readies for the second and final group E game in the ongoing TotalEnergies African Nations Championship.
“We don’t feel pressure. We hope to get all three points. We are not guaranteed qualification. Niger has a good team but we have worked on our strategy. Niger is under pressure. We don’t have the pressure. We will try to do our best to overcome our adversary,” said Djawal Kaiba at a pre match presser at the game’s venue in Bir El Djir, Algeria.
“All teams are equal. We have seen progress on the continent recently. We will do our best to qualify. We are very determined and want to win the game but then again we respect Niger. Anything can happen in football. We have to do our best to score and get the result we are looking for. A draw would be welcomed but we want to win this match,” he ended.
Kaiba is a marquee player for the men of coach Alioum Saidou and the team will be counting on his know-how in the mid to defeat Niger.
Congo is out of the equation after a draw on game day 2, leaving the fight between Cameroon and Niger in group E.
The winner of the match gets group C runners up Ghana in the quarter-finals of the competition.
