CHAN 2022: Madagascar Stun Black Galaxies In Group C

The local selection of Madagascar defeated the Black Galaxies of Ghana via a 2-1 margin on Sunday, January 15, 2023.

The lads of Annor Walker were no match for the Malagasy locals. In the 10th minute, Koloina Razafidranaivo gifted his side the lead.

Stunned, the Black Galaxies tried to equalize in vain. The score was one goal to nil at the break.

Back from the locker room, the Malagasy put pressure on and added to the score in the 63rd minute through Tsiry Randriantsiferana.

Seven minutes later, Augustine Agyapong with a long drive reduced the score.

Despite halving halved the deficit, Ghana failed to equalise. Madagascar ended up winning by a score of two goals to one and garthered all three points in the game.
