Clean Sweep For Senegal At U20 AFCON

The junior Teranga Lions emerged winners of the TotalEnergies U20 Africa Cup of Nations after a 2-0 victory over neighbors Gambia on Saturday, at the Cairo International Stadium.

At the end of a perfect run, Senegal overcame Gambia and won the trophy for the first time in history.

Pape Demba Diop won the Golden Boot after finishing top scorer with 5 goals. Lamine Camara the new Metz recruit was named best player of the competition, a clean sweep for Senegal with individual distinctions.
