Coach Bubista unveil Cape Verde’s 26-man AFCON squad

Coach Leitao Brito “Bubista” on Thursday, December 28, published a list of Cape Verde players for the AFCON 2023.

Per Bubista, his group is in fact a mixture of experience and youth. “We have three players who played in the previous AFCON and six from the younger age group. We always try to create a mix of youth experience,” remarked Bubista, this Thursday in Praia.

Group B which houses Cape Verde, includes Ghana, Mozambique and also Egypt. The head coach stressed that the Blue Sharks must have humility.

“We are convinced that thanks to the work we have done, we can aim to pass the first round,” the gaffer predicted.
