Conference league: Dawa Scores As Anderlecht Share Spoils Against FCSB

Anderlecht was held to a 2-2 draw by Romanian club FCSB on Thursday in Round 5 of Group B of the Conference League.

The side from Belgium led twice, courtesy Yari Verschaeren (38th) and Jan Vertonghen (75th) minutes, but were caught each time, following goals from Andrea Compagno (60th) and Joyskim Dawa (82nd).

Still third in the group, Anderlecht no longer has its fate in its hands. Anderlecht finished the match with ten men after the second yellow received by Michael Murillo (90th + 4).
