Coton set to pen down Mahop
Cameroonian international striker Robert Emmanuel Mahop has been spotted in Garoua and his imminent sign – on is on the horizon.
The striker’s entourage have reportedly reached an agreement with the 18-time Elite One winners Cotonsport.
After a Tanzanian trip which obviously did not work, the top scorer of the last edition of MTN Elite One is back in the championship.
Aged 28, Mahop’s career with Canon Sportif of Yaoundé was a stellar, last season, notably with the title of top scorer in the championship after netting 14 goals.
He would be a heavyweight in the area of adversaries when the deal is done. Cotonsport has lacked a real focal point in attack since the departure of Marou Souibou to Orlando Pirates.
According to information from LN Foot, Emmanuel Mahop will receive around two million upon signing and nearly 350,000 FCFA in salary per month.
