Daniel Tangwo Scores Against Foncha Street In Pre Season Friendly

One long range drive, one header. Two goals for newly acquired Daniel Tangwo of Yong Sports Academy. The lad scored the last of Yosa’s 3 goals against Elite 2 side – Foncha Street of Bamenda on October 12.

A thumping header graced the occasion, on a day that YOSA had two friendlies against PWD and Foncha Street FC, and they managed victories in all two games.

The youngster has ‘bilingual’ feet, and started his career at Best Stars as a central half, though he has been switched to the right side of the defense and that is where he is becoming one of fans’ favorites.

Daniel is extremely versatile and just as adept at playing right-back as he was in the center of the defense, with qualities to make him the perfect all-round defender.

Perfect positioning, match awareness, co-ordination, leadership, technical ability, marking, great aerial ability, superb tackling, stamina, speed, athleticism, and tactical knowledge are just some of the attributes that made him one of the best in the South West.

The latter’s runs down the wings keeps him putting in fantastic crosses in the opposition’s defense, making them to be constantly on edge.

Daniel and co head to Mbouda on Sunday October 16, where they will play against Bamboutos FC.
