Danny Namaso Scores In Porto’s 3-1 Win Over Chaves

Recently pre-selected for team Cameroon’s double header of the 2023 TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations by coach Rigobert Song, Danny Namaso is leaving a mark with his fourth league goal for Porto.

Porto won again in the Portuguese Championship on Saturday, when they faced Chaves on match day 23. The Dragons won 3-1 at Estádio Municipal de Chaves, with goals from Danny Namaso, Otávio and Toni Martínez. Steven Vitória, from the penalty spot, scored for the hosts.

The winners remain in second place in the Portuguese championship, with 54 points, eight less than the leaders Benfica. In the next round, Porto faces Estoril, on Friday, at Estádio do Dragão. The visitors opened the scoring with a fine goal by Danny Namaso.
