Dieudonne Nke Throws-in Towel After Title Lashing Defeats

PWD Social Football Club of Bamenda and head coach Dieudonne Nke have found common ground for the gaffer to leave the club following successive defeats that has left Elite One playoffs hopes the balance.
A club statement dating February 23rd 2024 stated a mutual agreement between both parties confirming the break-up. This comes after a string of poor results to Union of Douala and Aigle Royale of Menoua, forcing the 2020 elite one champions to drop out of title play-offs position.
According to reports, Coach Nke Dieudonne said goodbye to the players and the rest of the staff during the teams training session on Friday February 23 at the Bamenda municipal stadium, 146days after taking charge of the Abakwa Boys.
Appointed on September 29, 2023 to take over from Constantine Bep, Nke will proceed as a free agent, open to new deals elsewhere while his former employers search the market for a new coach.
At his time at the club, Nke handled 16 matches, with 5 wins, 5 draws and 6 defeats with his team scoring 13 goals and conceded 16.
PWD travel to Astre on Matchday-17 and conclude the second round against Gazelle FA in Garoua.
