Doyen Zabo scores late equaliser in Astres’ draw against Fortuna

Right back Doyen Zabo scored a dramatic equaliser to grab a point on the road for the men of coach Agbor Ernest on game day 3.

AS Fortuna and Astre of Douala played out to the second highest scoring fixture of Matchday-3 which concluded on 2-2 scoreline as both teams took turns in scoring at the weekend.

Astre came late in added time to escape back to back defeats from three matches after scoring first through captain Tchatchoua, who saw his goal canceled out by Amougou Ella for 1-1 before half-time.

The boys from Mfou would retake the lead deep into second half courtesy of Armel Djimoe and headed for all 3points which they lost in added time.

Enerst Agbor positioned his foot soldiers in a last minute showdown completed by Doyen Zabo for the spoils to be shared at Ngoa Ekelle Stadium.

The draws leaves both sides in 3rd and 4th place respectively as they head on to clash with Canon Sportif and Bamboutos of Mbouda.
