Ecobank joins-in as official CAF sponsor
Pan-African banking group Ecobank has become an official sponsor of the Africa Cup of Nations Côte d’Ivoire 2023 that kicks off 13 January 2024.
Ecobank operates in 35 sub-Saharan African countries, 16 of which have qualified for the 24 team AFCON 2023 finals. The bank has more than 14,000 employees and boasts over 32 million customers.

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has struggled to line-up major sponsors for its flagship national team competition, but has in the past week appointed IMG to help with its sponsorship sales strategy.
Total Energies is the is the title sponsor of Africa Cup of Nations Côte d’Ivoire 2023, while Puma, Visa and 1XBet are on-going CAF global partners.
Ecobank joins the sponsorship roster as an ‘Official Competition Sponsor’ alongside Chinese smartphone manufacturer Tecno, soft drinks company Razzl and Chinese motorbike manufacturer Apsonic.
