Elite One: Amih Renzo On Target As Renard Defeat UMS

As expected, the ‘ISOHSA’ connection is slowly gathering steam for coach Olivier Nankam and his Stade Renard side with Amih Renzo already getting off the mark.

Renard’s young side edged UMS 2-1 at the Bepanda Annex stadium on Sunday October 16.

Renzo scored his first goal for his new side at the 11th minute of play, and the score stayed that way until the 65th minute when the team’s top scorer last season, Joseph Momasso sent goalkeeper Armand Raoul the wrong way from the spot.

The best of the youngster is yet to be seen, as he gets to a turbo-charged mode when he plays alongside  Randy, his former skipper at SW regional league outfit – ISOHSA, though Randy didn’t make the match day list on Sunday.

Jules Theo scored 9 minutes later to gift the 2019 Cameroon cup winners all three points against UMS and newly appointed Ndoumbe Bosso.

Stade Renard will face-off against Renaissance next in pool A, while UMS gets set to battle Aigle Royal of the Menoua, rattled against Colombe on match day 1.
