Elite One: Apam Back Amongst The Goals, But Fauve Azur Pin Apejes

At the Ngoa Ekelle stadium on Sunday October 23, Fauve Azur leveled with Apejes as both sides couldn’t be separated in 90 minutes.

Fauve Azur trailed from the start but equalized and poked their noses ahead, and then, Apejes scored late for the share of spoils.

Joseph Apam who has returned from a stint in Euroupe after unsuccessful trials scored the game’s opener from the spot at the 26th minute.

Hamadou Abdoul equalized for the ‘Faya Boys’ 6 minutes after, before former Bamboutos FC man, Hansi Muller Mbappe doubled Azur’s advantage at the 34th minute.

After the pose, Apejes mounted attack and put Fauve Azur under siege, before eventually getting a 63rd minute equalizer courtesy Fack Bayokolak.

It ended 2-all, as these two teams stay in search of their first win in the campaign.
