Elite One: Bisseck Sacked, Souleymanou Lurks As Potential Replacement At Canon

For his second stint at the club after 2013, coach Jean Baptiste Bisseck has been shown the door by highly ambitious stakeholders at Canon, who wish to go continental.

Only a few months after his arrival at the helm of Canon Sportif of Yaounde, Jean Baptiste Bisseck has been dismissed from his coaching duties for lack of results.

On a series of three games without a win, the board of directors of Canon met on Sunday evening and decided to separate from the former coach of akonangui FC of Equatorial Guinea.

Jean Baptiste Bisseck therefore leaves, having led the Mekok Megonda to 4th place in Group A, in MTN Elite One behind Colombe, Coton Sport de Garoua and UMS de Loum.

The club is yet to announce the gaffer’s dismissal. Souleymanou Aboubakar is rumoured to be in pole position to replace Bisseck.
