Elite One: Daniel & Manfred Absent From The Call As Bamboutos Edge YOSA

Due to a delay in paper work, newcomers – Tangwo Daniel and Ekoi Manfred were not able to make the trip as David Momo’s side lost on the road to Bamboutos FC.

The Mangwa Boys defied all odds at the Mbouda Municipal Stadium to defeat a very good YOSA side 2-1, after the departure of coach Ndoumbe Bosso and a queue of players.

Last month’s Cameroon Cup beaten finalists brought daylight to the contest at the 28th minute courtesy Eugene Patrice Enjenguele’s powerful header.

The home side later increased tally three minutes after the hour mark, and it was William Ekanga who made the job for coach David Momo’s side more difficult.

Erstwhile U20 midfield anchor man, Nchindo John Bosco served on the plate for defender, Ngwa Acha who halved deficit at the 80th minute, but YOSA couldn’t restore parity before the final whistle, as it ended 2-1.

Up next for YOSA is a difficult away game against Union of Douala, who themselves drew against Les Astres in the opener.
