Elite One: David Pagou Pilots Aigle To Second League Win

After he escaped lynching in the hands of Aigle on match day 6 of the MTN Elite One for a poor display against PWD, coach David Pagou has led his side to victory against Renaissance.

The gaffer was in the dugout as Aigle defeated Renaissance via a 2-0 margin.

An early first half goal from Anise Nlend at the 29th minute and another from Oumarou Sanda at the 67th minute made sure of all 3 points for Aigle.

It was only the second time that the ‘El Pacha’ picked up all three points this campaign, and it pushes them to seventh on the table.

Meanwhile, for Renaissance, they are gaining a ‘Robbin Hood’ tag, which implies taking from the rich and giving to the poor.

Renaissance have defeated stronger sides in UMS and Eding Sport this season, but the problem is the teams around and below them in the table.
