Elite One: Djiko FC And Colombe Ends Stale

Colombe recorded a goalless tie against Djiko FC on game day 16 in group A of the MTN Elite One championship on Sunday March 12, at the Ngoa Ekelle stadium.

Coach Anicet Mbarga Foe is still to find a formula as his lads continue to struggle in the second round with no wins recorded thus far.

Since recording an impressive 3-1 win over Canon in game day 11 on December 31, the South side have gone on to lose 2 games in the restart against: PWD, Avion, and shared spoils against Aigle, and now, Djiko FC.

The winners of the first round have dropped to 6th in group A due to their inability to win ball games.

Colombe has added up just 2 points to the initial 20 they accumulated at the end of the first round, and they are now playing catch-up to UMS who are top with 7 points more.
