Elite One: Eding Sport And Stade Vow To Fight Till End, Despite ‘Conspiracy’

Eding Sports and Stade Renard of Melong appealed to the conciliation and arbitration chamber of the Cameroon National Olympic and Sports Committee to settle their cases opposing them against Dragon FC Yaounde.

Fans are for the fact that Eding Sport and her president Saint Fabien Mvogo are somewhat victims of their support for Samuel Eto’o towards the forthcoming elections.

Under fallacious pretexts, the federation’s appeals committee endorsed the decision issued by the homologation and disciplinary committee of the same Cameroonian football federation which recommended deducting points from the 2017 Cameroon Cup Champions Eding Sports.

It is therefore no surprise that the flagship club of Lékié lost the case before the court.

Bigwigs of the FA had promised to make President Saint Fabien Mvogo pay for his alliance with Samuel Eto’o, possible candidate for the presidency of FECAFOOT, and this just seems to come in as a pinch of salt.

As a free man concerned about the development of Cameroonian football in which he has invested a lot of money for many years, Saint-Fabien Mvogo, also a full member of the executive committee and president of the regional football league of the Center, did not hesitate to turn his back in order to ally himself with the top scorer in the history of the AFCON – Samuel Eto’o, who
affectionately calls him “Dad”.

It must be said that the announcement of the loss of this dispute against Dragon FC of Yaounde was expected. Etienne Tamo, a close friend of President Seidou Njoya, had already made leaked the information during a private conversation at the headquarters of the federation in Yaoundé . He even claimed that he used 100,000 FCFA offered by President Mvogo for his fuel, as if to make fun of it.
To this, it should be added that the possibility that Eding Sport of Lekie wins this dispute, it should benefit the Union of Douala, but it is known that the president of the Nasara, Franck Happi, is no longer viewed favorably by the administration of Seidou Njoya.
He has accused him of having vehemently solicited the establishment of a professional league as a priority and especially having encouraged the presidents of elite clubs to claim state subsidies.

Pending the verdict that will come out of the CCA, President Mvogo has accepted to play his play-down that will pit Eding against Tonnerre Kalara Club.

Stade Renard de Melong also took to CCA to protest against the withdrawal of three points in favour of Dragon of Yaounde.
